Napkin Set - Okra Pickled Ginger
Okra is a flowering plant in the mallow family said to have originated in Ethiopia and cultivated by the Egyptians as early as the 12th century B.C. Known in many English speaking countries as Ladie’s fingers or Ochro, it is valued for its edible green seedpods and nutritional benefits. This design is inspired by a cross section of the Okra seed pod, laid over a backdrop of stylised rows of barley.
